In very good overall condition, the car has UK MOT history upto 2017 from which time it has only covered just over 550 miles, it has had recent expenditure with local 2CV specialist Chevron Motor Company of £1320 at 62137 miles, since when the 2CV has only covered three hundred miles , the bodywork is in overall very good condition, and benefits from a replacement galavnised chassi. It is a very good usable car ideal for everyday use or alternatively kept for sunny summer days.

A major service has been carried out in the last 300 miles, with engine and gearbox oil seals being replaced, new king pins fitted, rear brakes renewed, electronic ignition fitted and overall service. Chevron account on file. We found that on a recent test that the car drives very well.

Our delightful red 2CV Special series was French made, and delivered RHD to the UK in 1984, it has only covered 62969 miles since new, originally registered in the UK as A924FPD, it was registered in Jersey in 2017. Originally pre war, the original 2CV prototypes were hidden during WW2, and re-emerged after the Liberation of France, when work restarted on the development of a small utility car capable of being used for a variety of purposes taken into the needs both agricultural community and town dwellers. The nely designed Citroen powered by a air cooled flat twin engine was launched in 1948, with first deliveries commencing in 1949, thus the 2CV originally created as a prototype in 1939 finally came to market. Another thirty years would pass and the 2CV continued to find the hearts of owners across the world, the 602 cc Series was launched in 1979 and continued in production until 1988 in France and 1990 in Portugal.
