At 49,700 miles a major service was carried out by a Mercedes Benz specialist for the current owner with a total spend of £1,800 to bring the car up to tip top mechanical order. The brief to attend to anything that is needing doing . The car is driving very well.
Finished in the original very tough and hard wearing MB grey cloth.
Mercedes-Benz required a smaller saloon car to compete with rival manufactures. Know by its chassis code the W210 was 8 years in development and absorbed £600 million in development costs. No wonder it was such a sucess selling over 1,000,000 units. In 1987 the in line 6 cylinder 190E 2.6 was introduced with 160 HP. This car was UK supplied but exported to Guernsey and currently Guernsey registered 2009. With the current owner since 2018 however now reducing his collection so some cars have to go.
