Invoices and photographs show extensive restoration works were undertaken in 1991 with invoices totally £12,000 in labour and £2000 in parts. Many new panels were fitted as well as mechanical upgrades. Also in 2017 the car was repainted and underwent a "light" restoration. The car is slightly modified with its 15" minilite wheels , louvered bonnet and new front grille. The underside is excellent, which is good for an MGB of this period as they are quite rust prone.
The engine bay is in very tidy / restored condition and one can see money has been invested here. Visible newish parts to include an aluminum radiator, heater valve, servo, hoses, heater valve etc. Invoices show regular servicing and maintenance work has been undertaken. in 1991 and 2017 extensive works were undertaken to this car, more recently to include Minilite wheels, front brake calipers, front suspension overhaul kits fitted, and new water hoses. The car has just had some tuning and running works undertaken by ourselves. Driving well with no know faults.
Motolita steering wheel fitted with dark Walnut veneers on the dash and center console. The seats are trimmed in a hard wearing black cloth with red piping. The interior condition is fine and suits its age.
The MGB was produced at Abingdon England by BMC which then changed to British Leyland between 1962 to 1980. This matching numbers car was first registered in Jersey on the 15th June 1972. The original Buff log book comes with the car as well as a fairly comprehensive history file detailing service and maintenance works undertaken from the 1980's onwards.
