Ian Le Riche

Schooled at De La Salle College Jersey, after his "A" Levels, Ian was one of the first intake of students to have studied for the newly developed and very specific diploma in Vehicle Restoration at Colchester Institute of Design and Technology. Graduating in 1989 he returned to Jersey and co-founded Le Riche Automobile Restorers (C.I.) Limited with business partner Joe Castellino. Incorporated in 1990, the firm was a first of its kind in the Channel Islands specialising in restoring vintage and classic cars. Ian has spent his career immersed in the world of historic automobiles and is a respected and well-known specialist in this field of expertise.

With nearly 25 years trading, Ian has overseen the development of the Le Riche business into a leading vehicle restoration company, with an international client base of historic car collectors. The workmanship and specialist knowledge of the firm has been internationally recognised with podium finishes for restoration projects undertaken for clients, including the Pebble Beach Concours in California, Villa D'Este Concorzo D'Eleganza in Italy, and Schloss Dyck, Dusseldorf, Germany, to name a few.

Ian's strong reputation for industry knowledge and technical expertise relevant to all historic vehicles played an important role in the development of the company's sales and brokerage business where it now successfully acts on behalf of international clients in locating, buying and selling historic cars.
