Le Riche Team

Joe Castellino

Founder and Director

Joe returned to his first occupation in 2008 after a career in banking. A graduate in Economics from Westminster University, he co-founded Le Riche Automobile Restorers (C.I.) Limited in 1990 with Ian Le Riche. Leaving the company in 1994, but retaining his equity stake and his passion for historic cars, he joined the finance industry working in London and Jersey.

He qualified under US regulations as a NASD Securities Dealer in 1997 and later in 2000, as an investment adviser through the UK Securities Institute. Working in the field of corporate treasury and institutional funds, he was appointed Managing Director of Royal Bank of Scotland International Asset Management (C.I.) Limited in 1999, developing a range of fixed income fund products. As a member of the RBS Offshore Financial Markets executive team, he held many executive directorships for a variety of investment funds. Recruited by Assicurzzioni Generali Spa's Guernsey-based subsidiary in 2004, he was appointed Director and CEO of BSI Generali Bank (C.I.) Limited, a specialist offshore corporate bank and investment fund promoter regulated in Dublin and Guernsey.

From an early age, motor sports and historic cars loomed large. A "schoolboy" scrambler and a keen classic car participant in hill climbs and sprints, the lure of his early career with Le Riche saw him retire from a full-time finance industry role in 2007 and return to his first occupation where he is able to combine investment fund expertise with automotive heritage assets.
