Martin Caunce

On leaving school at 16, Martin went straight into an upholstery apprenticeship with well known Jersey trimming shop K. Moody & Sons. Completing his apprenticeship at Moody’s, working mainly on luxury boats and motor car trimming, Martin joined Le Riche Automobile in 1990 and worked as our in-house upholsterer for 10 years, at the same time gaining Porsche Cars UK’s certification as a Porsche-approved motor trimmer. While working with Le Riche, Martin’s craftsmanship has been well-recognised, as his skill in interior renovation and upholstery restoration for vintage cars has helped win concours events at Pebble Beach and Villa D’Este. Martin left us with our blessing in 2011, setting up his own business Heritage Trimming, and he is now our highly-valued motor trimming contractor.
