About
Supplied alongside NG3576 for the same collector with the same brief to restore to concourse condition.
Interestingly this is the last Austin 7 Swallow made in the summer of 1932
Dismantling revealed very poor previous repairs had been undertaken to the car and a new ash frame was fabricated. We aimed to saving as much of the original metal work as possible , so repaired the wings and tail rather than replaced. Previous chassis repairs were undone and the car was finished in its original colour scheme of Black and red . The car was re trimmed , re wired etc. Supplied back to the customer for the engine and running gear to be fitted.
