Humber

Humber

Sister marque to Hilman Humber was always at the upper end of the British market. Like many midlands car firms in Britain the classic Humber the super snipe came in the late 1940s and typified as the a range of luxurious saloons used as official cars and as chauffeur driven bank managers carriages which continued until the late 60s. From 1967 when Rootes was taken over by Chrysler the only Humber produced was an upmarket version of the Hillman Hunter.
